Red Belt Technical Requirements

The Red belt, or 2nd Gup, follows the Purple belt.  This color communicates a warning, to both the wearer and other students, that the skills of this taekwondo student can potentially cause damage or harm.  Students over 5 years old are expected to know all of the below material to be eligible for promotion to High Red belt, as well as the material from previous belts.
